I've been an artist since I was able to hold a marker. Not much has changed, I'm still getting paint everywhere and making messes. My creativity is ever-growing, and my work has grown into a colorful contemporary art style.
I use tons of different materials in my paintings. I'm always trying to think of new ways to add texture to my pieces. At the moment, my most used materials are acrylics, plaster, and gold leaf.
Some of the great abstract expressionist artists of our past including Jackson Pollock, Joan Mitchell, and Mark Rothko are all inspirations for my process. I enjoy exploring the relationships between colors with rough, dry brush strokes. My work is meant to be bold and conversational.
